Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a part-time registered nurse for the SMC PACU Surgical Services. The RN will coordinate patient care, educate patients and families, and support transitions of care across the continuum.

Responsibilities include leadership activities, collaboration with teams, and ensuring quality care. A RN license and BLS are required, with flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• One year of professional RN experience required.
• BLS certification and current RN licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and patient/family education.
• Support transitions of care across shifts and settings.
• Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrate communication and mentoring skills; adapt to varying schedules.
