Job summary

Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PACU. The role is part-time or 0.6 FTE with 8-hour day shifts, Monday to Friday, and a focus on delivering evidence-based nursing care and continuous quality improvement.

The RN will assess and plan patient care, perform procedures, and collaborate with the care team in a fast-paced postoperative environment. Wisconsin RN licensure, BLS, and department-specific certifications are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• RN with an associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Specialty certification desired.
• Minimum of three years practicing as an RN in a comparable setting.
• Maintains specialty certification as per department scope.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP certification may be required depending on primary department.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care incorporating evidence-based practice.
• Improve quality of nursing care by collecting and analyzing data.
• Provide professional nursing services in the PACU setting.
