Job summary

Insight Pain Management in Flint, MI is seeking a dedicated PACU RN to partner with our medical staff and deliver peri-anesthesia nursing care for patients before and after surgery in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting.

This full-time role requires current Michigan RN license, ADN, BCLS, and a commitment to safety and high quality care. ACLS within 60 days; strong communication and teamwork are essential. We offer a supportive team and competitive benefits to grow professionally.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for employment in the U.S.
• Associate degree in nursing is required; state licensure Michigan.
• Current BCLS certification; Registered Nurse has 60 days from date of hire to obtain ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Directs and/or provides professional peri-anesthesia nursing care for an assigned group of patients across the age continuum.
• Provides clinical care to patients pre and post operatively
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to direct or provide superior nursing care.
• Provides supervision and guidance to other members of the PACU or pre-operative staff; may be authorized, in the absence of the Manager of Patient Services or the Manager of Surgical Services, to make decisions affecting the PACU or pre-operative area.
• Provides superior patient care at all times
• Interacts with staff members professionally, productively and courteously to support a strong culture
• Communicates in a professional and proactive manner at all times

Education

Associate degree in Nursing (ADN)

Current BCLS certification
