Job summary

Alliance Orthopedics is seeking a skilled PACU Registered Nurse to provide post-anesthesia care in Millburn, NJ. This role requires an active NJ RN license and 1–2+ years in an OR, specifically with orthopedic procedures.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey.
• Current CLS, BLS & PALS Certification.
• 1-2+ years of operating room experience with orthopedic procedures.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).

Responsibilities

• Proactively participates as a team member in support of the post-anesthesia care process.
• Identifies patient and procedure using two identifiers.
• Prepares recovery room/PACU per patient and physician orders.
• Provides comfort and reassurance to patient.
• Maintains patient privacy and dignity; documents care accurately.
• Monitors patient condition and communicates abnormal findings to anesthesia provider.
