Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate nursing care, educate patients and families, and support transitions of care across the continuum. The role emphasizes leadership in clinical practice and collaboration within interdisciplinary teams to uphold Mayo Clinic standards.

The position requires a baccalaureate nursing degree, active RN licensure, ACLS certification, and at least one year of critical care experience in ICU/PACU/ED, with PACU preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program.
• Evidence of completing the baccalaureate nursing degree within five years from the RN start date (for entry requirements).
• 1 year of RN critical care experience in ICU, PACU, or ED; PACU preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care for assigned patients across shifts.
• Provide patient and family education and facilitate transitions of care.
• Lead and participate in professional practice and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet patient needs.
• A subset of employees may be required to drive their personal vehicle as part of the role.
