Job summary

Incredible Health in Cumming, GA is seeking a PACU RN to provide immediate post-operative care for diverse surgical patients. The role requires monitoring vitals, managing anesthesia-related symptoms, and coordinating with surgical teams for smooth transitions to discharge.

Qualified candidates will hold an ADN or higher, RN license, and relevant BLS/ACLS certifications, with strong interpersonal and EMR skills.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree or equivalent.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year PACU/ICU or high-acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to surgical patients and monitor vital signs.
• Administer prescribed medications and follow treatment plans.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams for patient transitions.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and potential complications.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
