Job summary

Alaska Regional Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a PRN PACU Registered Nurse to provide immediate post-operative care and collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams. The role involves airway management, monitoring neurological and cardiac status, wound care, and patient stabilization during recovery.

Qualified candidates will have an associate degree, current RN license, and at least one year of PACU experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required
• ACLS within 90 days of start date
• BLS within 30 days of start date
• PALS within 90 days of start date
• One or more years of PACU experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered post-operative care in PACU
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams
• Monitor neurological and cardiac status and airway management
• Educate patients and families about care and follow-up
