Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC is seeking a part-time PACU RN to deliver postoperative nursing care in the recovery area. The role includes patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for diverse age groups, with an emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Strong communication with the surgical team is essential. Responsibilities include admissions/discharges, education for patients and families, and adherence to policy and protocol while maintaining clinical expertise

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program is required.
• BSN is preferred.
• Valid Illinois RN license is required.
• BLS and ALS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide PACU/Recovery nursing care after anesthesia.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients across age groups.
• Document care clearly and communicate with the perioperative team.
• Educate patients and families about post-op care and safety.
