Job summary

The University of Rochester is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PACU-Surg Support Nursing/SMH unit located at 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14642. Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing and 6 months experience as a Registered Nurse working in an Acute Care Setting required
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• RN - State Licensure licensed in New York State (NYS) upon hire required

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents patient care, medication administration, care plans, and patient education following policies and procedures
• Identifies patient problems and collaborates in developing a plan of care
• Supports peers in delivering patient care and may assume charge nurse or preceptor responsibilities
