Job summary

Rochester Regional Health in Unity Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PACU. You will monitor patients post-anesthesia, document assessments, and collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure safety and recovery.

The role requires NY RN license, BLS, and a Diploma/ADN; Bachelor's preferred; 6 months experience preferred. Full-time, 40 hours/week, 8- or 10-hour shifts, no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ADN in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license in New York State.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• At least 6 months experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality, patient-centered, clinical care.
• Performs initial and ongoing assessment of the patient, utilizing appropriate data.
• Communicates and documents assessment of patient with the interdisciplinary team.
• Utilizes all available resources to meet the needs of the patient and family.
• Develops and documents plan of care, treatment and services which is individualized.
