Job summary

Lutheran Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the PACU unit (16 Bays plus 1 Isolation Room). The role is 0.9 FTE (36 hours per week) from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 9:30 pm, with holiday and call rotations. Provides patient-centered care through nursing assessment, planning, and execution.

The RN collaborates with physicians and nurses to ensure high-quality care, adheres to clinical protocols, and maintains patient and family education and safety.

Qualifications

• RN license required (state licensure).
• BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Document care accurately in medical records.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in code team activities.
