Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the PACU unit (Days shift).

You will apply the nursing process, coordinate patient care with other departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.

Ideal candidates have an RN license in Missouri (or compact), at least 1 year RN/PACU experience, ADN/ Diploma/ BSN, and BLS certification. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and prolonged standing.

Qualifications

• RN license in Missouri or compact licensure.
• 1 year RN/PACU experience preferred.
• Education: ADN, Diploma, or BSN.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/TNCC may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
