Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse, PACU to support post-anesthesia patients in Baltimore, MD. The role is a 10-week contract on a 4x10 day shift, 0800–1830, with no weekends or on-call duties.

The PACU RN will monitor vitals, administer medications, and ensure patient comfort as they recover from anesthesia. Requires 2+ years PACU experience and active MD/compact state RN license, plus BLS/ACLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a PACU or similar recovery unit.
• Active RN license in Maryland or a compact state.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• CPI certification is preferred and will be required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients’ vital signs and level of consciousness post-surgery.
• Administer medications and fluids as prescribed.
• Provide discharge instructions and support to patients and families.
• Assist in the management of post-anesthesia complications.
• Document patient conditions and care accurately in the Epic charting system.
