Job summary

AdventHealth in Deland, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN Day shift position. The role involves assessing patients across multiple domains, creating individualized care plans, administering medications, and educating patients and families.

Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and strict documentation are essential. The ideal candidate holds an Associate's in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred) with RN licensure and BLS.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and navigating Windows-based programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately following physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care and ensure effective communication.
