Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a BSN (or an ADN with relevant experience), has an active Georgia RN license, and meets basic certification requirements. The position requires flexible shifts and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited BSN with 12 months of nursing experience within the past five years, OR ADN with a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current unencumbered RN licensure in Georgia.
• BLS certification; ACLS may be required for certain departments; multi-state license (compact) within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe, effective, and independent nursing care using the nursing process.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and recognizes the impact of nursing care on outcomes.
• Develops and implements patient care plans with input from patient and family; adjusts as needed.
• Documents care accurately in electronic and physical records.
• Utilizes the Synergy Model for Care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
