Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years of PACU experience
• Registered Nurse (RN)
• ACLS, Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtain within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care in the PACU using the nursing practice model.
• Assess patients, identify nursing diagnoses, and develop personalized care plans.
• Regularly assess patient responses and ensure safe navigation of healthcare systems.
• Delegate tasks based on Texas nursing laws, patient conditions, and staff skills.
