Job summary

Ingenovis Health is partnering with UK King's Daughters as the employer of record for Riverspan to provide travel PACU nursing roles in New York. Nurses will care for patients recovering from anesthesia, monitor vital signs, assess consciousness, and watch for anesthesia-related side effects.

We require 1-2 years of recent PACU experience and an active US nursing license. Additional certifications may be requested by facilities.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent experience in the job's primary area of care.
• Active license or appropriate accreditation in one of the 50 US states.
• Additional requirements & certifications may be requested by the facility or unit.
• An enthusiastic, adventurous spirit with a desire to help.

Responsibilities

• Monitor post-anesthesia vitals and levels of consciousness.
• Observe patients for side effects from anesthesia and respond as needed.

Job description

Also known as recovery room nurses, post-anesthesia care unit or PACU nurses care for patients who are recovering from anesthesia after surgery. They monitor post-operation vital signs, assess levels of consciousness, and carefully observe patients for any side effects from anesthesia.

Basic travel nursing requirements
