Position Summary
The PACU RN performs pre-surgical nursing assessments and provides education to the patient prior to admission at the Ambulatory Surgery Center. The RN assesses and evaluates the care needs of the patient, requests necessary pre-surgical clearances and diagnostics, and communicates the patient's plan of care to the ASC. This PACU RN must also be open to being cross-trained as a circulator.
Schedule
30-40 hours/week, 3-4 days/week, shifts would fall between Monday-Friday (usually Monday-Thursday, but occasional Fridays will be required), 6am-5pm.
