Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or higher in nursing
• Active and unencumbered RN license
• 1 year experience in PACU, ICU, or similar high-acuity setting (preferred)
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in electronic medical records

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care, monitor vital signs, and manage anesthesia symptoms
• Administer medications and implement treatment plans
• Collaborate with surgical teams for patient transition from operating room to discharge
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital policies
