Travel PACU RN Job Details – Fort Wayne, IN

Job Title: PACU Registered Nurse (Travel)
Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana (46804)
Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
Healthcare Setting: Specialty Orthopedic Hospital
Start Date: September 8, 2025
End Date: December 8, 2025
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 10:00 AM – 7:30 PM (4x9-hour shifts/week)
Hours per Week: 40
No weekends or on-call required
Patient Ratio: 2:1
Unit Size: 27 beds (16 pre-op / 11 PACU)
Monthly Department Volume: ~500 patients
EMR System: Cerner (preferred)

PACU RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana
Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (required)

Educate patients and families on post-operative care and discharge instructions
Accurately document all care provided using the Cerner EMR system
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) environment
