Job summary

Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA seeks an experienced Surgical Services Registered Nurse for the PACU in our Same Day Surgery Unit. This full-time role requires at least 1 year of PACU experience and offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus for successfully hired candidates.

The RN will deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, following nursing processes and professional standards. BSN/MSN preferred; ACLS/PALS/ENPC and BLS certifications required within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• RN with experience in Surgical Services or PACU.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• ACLS within 1 year of hire; PALS or ENPC within 1 year of hire; BLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to PACU patients using the nursing process.
• Adhere to standards of practice and professional performance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and recovery.
