Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing or higher; BSN required within 5 years.
- Current State of Illinois RN licensure.
- CPR (BLS) certification by AHA or Red Cross.
- ACLS within 90 days; PALS within 90 days.
Responsibilities
- Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care.
- Assess patients’ condition, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress.
- Delegate appropriate patient care tasks to other staff.
- Collaborate as a team member to meet unit goals.
- Duties may vary by unit or shift.
