Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a per diem role in Naperville, Illinois. The RN will render professional nursing care, assess patient conditions, and coordinate with the care team to meet unit goals. Strong critical thinking and documentation are essential.

Education includes an ASN/BSN with licensure in Illinois; ACLS/PALS within 90 days; CPR/BLS current. Hours vary with department needs and shifts; benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or higher; BSN required within 5 years.
• Current State of Illinois RN licensure.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification.
• ACLS within ninety days of start date.
• PALS within ninety days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care; assesses patients' condition and plans care.
• Monitors patient progress and records pertinent observations; delegates tasks to staff.
• Collaborates with the team to achieve unit goals and ensure safe, effective care.

Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

What you will do:

Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Employing critical thinking skills, assesses patients? condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients? progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. The following are general characteristics of this job, although duties may vary by assigned unit or shift.

What you will need:

• Education:
  • Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)
• License/Certification:
  • Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
  • Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into position
  • Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date into position
