The RN will participate in peer reviews, staff training, and performance improvement while maintaining HIPAA compliance and high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree of Nursing required.
• Current, full RN license in good standing.
• ACLS, PALS and ALS certifications required.
• One year of RN experience in the last two years.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly chart peer reviews and unit-based training to maintain competency.
• Follow unit needs: Flight Commander of SDS/PACU, Infection Control Monitor, Charge Nurse, and admin duties.
• Maintain ASPAN guidelines and DHA/DoD procedures for peri-anesthesia care.
• Document care accurately and comply with HIPAA and local instructions.
• Participate in peer review, performance improvement, and staff training.
• Operate CHCS, AHLTA, Essentris and MHS GENESIS as part of clinical duties.
• Maintain infection control practices and safe handling of infectious waste.
