Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current NY licensure or eligibility.
• Minimum 1 year acute clinical, med-surg or ICU experience preferred.
• Participation in ongoing education and clinical ladder activities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and deliver care for patients in the post-anesthesia recovery phase.
• Assist with procedures and care modalities for cardioversion, line insertions, dressing and critically ill patients.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and RNs to coordinate care.
• Ensure care follows NY Nurse Practice Act and ASPAN/ASA standards.
