Job summary

Winter Haven Ambulatory Surgery Center is hiring a PACU Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care for patients waking from anesthesia at our Florida facility. You will ensure patient safety, comfort and privacy while monitoring progress and coordinating with the surgical team.

Minimum qualifications include Florida RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and PACU or critical care experience. We offer competitive benefits and a stable ambulatory care environment with no calls, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in FL.
• BLS, ACLS & PALS required.
• 2 years of PACU or Critical Care experience preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous nursing care to patients emerging from general anesthesia or sedation.
• Evaluate patient condition, ensuring safety, comfort and privacy at all times.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks, sedation, and sterile technique.
