Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing or a higher nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date).
- Current State of Illinois RN licensure.
- Current CPR (BLS) certification.
- ACLS within 90 days of start date.
- PALS within 90 days of start date.
Responsibilities
- Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care.
- Assesses patients’ condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care.
- Monitors patients’ progress and records observations.
- Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to staff.
- Works as part of a team to meet unit goals.
