Job summary

Mercy South PACU is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time day shifts at 10010 Kennerly Rd. in Missouri. You will deliver comprehensive post-anesthesia care, using the nursing process to plan and provide patient care while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.

Responsibilities include coordinating with departments, evaluating care effectiveness, and upholding Mercy Service Standards. Requires RN licensure in the state or a compact license and BLS certification or completion within 30

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN license must be current in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required or completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
