Job summary

Beaufort Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Recovery Room to provide expert perioperative care for patients in the PACU. The nurse will plan and coordinate care for an assigned group of patients, directing ancillary staff to implement the care plan and ensuring adherence to the SC Nurse Practice Act and hospital standards.

Requirements include an active South Carolina RN license and BLS certification; ACLS within 6 months of hire and PALS encouraged.

Qualifications

• Current South Carolina RN license.
• BLS certification required prior to first clinical shift (American Heart Association).
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• PALS encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care for a group of patients in the Recovery Room, coordinating and directing care with the care team.
• Assists in planning and implementing the patient's plan of care within hospital policies and nursing standards.
