Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program with an Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• Valid RN license in Connecticut.
• At least 1 year PACU experience in inpatient surgical recovery.
• ICU experience with 2+ years may be considered if ICU-level ventilated patient care and critical drips.
• BLS/CPR certification (AHA or ARC).
• ACLS and TNCC certifications; training post-hire available.
• Proficiency in ASPAN standards and guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate’s degree in Nursing is required.
• Valid RN license in Connecticut
• The ideal candidate will have one or more years of PACU experience supporting inpatient surgical recovery

Preferred:

• Candidates with ICU experience with 2+ years of experience may be considered if they demonstrate expertise in ICU-level ventilated patient care, critical drips (e.g., vasopressors, sedatives), and strong assessment skills. Note: Training is not available for candidates without this expertise
• BLS/CPR certification (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS and TNCC certification (support available post-hire)
• Proficiency in ASPAN standards and guidelines

Position Highlights and Benefits

• Part-Time – 24 hours/week – Day Shift
• Monday thru Friday, no weekend or holiday commitment.
• Variable Day shift rotations with ranging start times of 5:30 am, 6 am, 7 am, 8 am, or 9:00 am.
• Shifts range from 8, 10, and 12 hour shifts, based on unit needs
