The Cambridge Health Alliance's PACU/Preop Everett Hospital is seeking an experienced Peri-anesthesia RN to provide care in preoperative and immediate postoperative phases. Responsibilities include pre-admission, pre-op and PACU duties, with on-call rotation.

The ideal candidate will have MA RN license, BLS and ACLS, BSN preferred, and at least two years of PACU/critical care experience. This part-time role offers day/evening shifts and 27 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing with MA RN license in good standing.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Two years PACU/critical care experience or equivalent recovery exposure.
• Variable start times; on-call obligations including weekday nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• The Peri-anesthesia (PACU) RN is responsible for all aspects of care in preoperative and immediate postoperative phases through discharge.
• Manages nursing care for pre-admission, pre-op, and PACU with critical thinking in a fast-paced setting.
• Communicates effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
