Job summary

Corewell Health in Royal Oak, MI, is seeking a full-time CNA for the Pre Post Recovery South Tower. Evening shift, 11:00 PM–11:30 PM, 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday with variable weekends. Sign-on bonus up to $1,500 is available.

Located at Royal Oak Hospital, this unit provides post-surgical orthopaedic and neuro care with dedicated PACU and Preop areas. Responsibilities include direct patient care under an RN plan, patient transport, constant observation as needed, and unit clerical tasks

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support required.
• Current CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care per plan of care under RN direction.
• Safely transport patients via wheelchair or stretcher.
• Serve as Observer for patients requiring constant observation.
• Perform receptionist and clerical duties to support the nursing unit.
• Document care in the electronic medical record.
