This PACU Nurse opportunity is open to new graduates as well as experienced nurses looking to grow their perioperative skills in a collaborative hospital environment.
The Pre and Post Anesthesia Care Nurse provides patient-centered care throughout the perioperative journey, from pre-operative preparation and assessment through post-anesthesia recovery and safe transitions to the next level of care. Nurses work alongside an interdisciplinary team, using clinical judgment, effective communication, and technology-supported workflows to deliver safe, attentive care to surgical patients and their families.
In this role, the PACU Nurse completes pre-operative assessments as assigned, monitors patients following anesthesia, manages pain and nausea, recognizes changes in condition, and implements appropriate nursing interventions. Collaboration with anesthesia professionals, surgeons, and other clinical team members helps ensure safe recovery and continuity of care.
