Job summary

Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support the unit-based patient care team under the direction of the RN/LPN. The role includes direct tasks (ADL care, vital signs, glucometry, EKGs, weights, intake/output) and indirect duties (transport, restocking, supply gathering).

You will respond promptly to patient and family needs, uphold policies, and contribute to efficient unit operation in line with Joint Commission, CDC and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent required; Certification as a nursing assistant
• BLS required, CNA

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and vital signs
• Perform glucometry, EKGs, weights and intake/output data collection
• Transit and restock as needed; obtain patient care supplies
• Respond to patient and family needs in a timely manner
• Support efficient operation of the unit while following policy
