Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• A minimum of one year of nursing experience in Surgery required.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision and leadership to the assigned nursing care unit for the shift.
• Ensures safe, competent, compassionate and efficient care and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Acts as frontline leader to assess day-to-day situations and initiate corrective actions.
• Serves as staff RN/relief RN for breaks and absences and supports the surgical schedule.
