Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a full-time Nurse Aide I/II to support patients with daily living activities, assist with hygiene, and monitor vital signs in a 40-hour weekly schedule (M-F 11:00–19:00). Responsibilities include feeding, ambulation, keeping rooms clean, documenting in medical records, performing 12-lead ECG and venipuncture under training, and complying with PHI guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as Nurse Aide I or with the state Board as Nurse Aide II.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Supports patients with activities of daily living.
• Assists patients with personal hygiene.
• Takes vital signs and height and weight measurements.
• Feeds and ambulates patients according to procedures.
• Maintains patient rooms in a clean and orderly condition.
• Observes and reports changes in patient conditions.
• Orients patients/families to unit and safety procedures.
• Performs clerical tasks and maintains medical records.
• Maintains stock in inventory.
• Performs Nurse Aide I/II tasks and venipuncture/12-lead EKG training.
