Job summary

CPC Behavioral Healthcare's PACT team is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Clinician I to join our community-based program in Red Bank, New Jersey. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing assessments and direct services to adults with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use issues.

The role focuses on biopsychosocial assessments, individual and group interventions, and helping consumers with daily living tasks, housing, employment, and advocacy.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree and LSW or LAC.
• Valid New Jersey driver's license.
• 2 years post-bachelor's level experience working with individuals with serious and persistent mental illness.

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively and in coordination with PACT team members, consumers, for their families and other service providers.
• Complete culturally sensitive biopsychosocial assessments.
• Provide individual, group, and family interventions as warranted, based on development of individual recovery plan.
• Assess psychoeducational learning needs of consumers and their families, as applicable.
• Assist consumers with daily living tasks, including shopping, cooking, housekeeping, etc.
• Respond to emergency situations
• Help consumers clarify choices in relation to housing, employment, school, use of leisure time, etc.
• Help consumers find and maintain employment, housing, benefits, etc.
• Act as advocate for consumers, which may involve frequent contact with employers, landlords, local shopkeepers, and others.
• Adhere to all Agency policies and procedures, including attendance at all required agency training
