What You'll Get to Do

The Packing Technician focuses on attention to detail and reports to the Packing and Material Handling Manager.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy staying active and leading a team. As a vital member of the Packing Department, you will have the opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

• Locating on-time material and delivering it to the box machine or packing tables.
• Generating tickets for buggies of metal that need to be packed.
• Ensuring all packing tables have metal to pack.
• Verifying that parts match the die print, ticket, and quantity.
• Applying problem-solving skills to address issues related to quality, count, color, etc.
• Being computer literate and able to read and understand Epics scheduling information.

We Are Looking For

• Ability to stand, walk, and bend constantly throughout the shift, which may last up to 12-13 hours.
• Frequent pushing of buggies of material weighing up to 3000 pounds.
• Constant use of hands for grasping, lifting, taping, moving, operating carts, data entry, and handling materials.
• Occasional two-person lifts of boxes weighing up to 150 pounds.
