Job Overview

Under the general supervision of the Area Leader, Production Supervisor and/or Plant Manager, the Freezer Packer will be responsible for following directions for various plant tasks to ensure good quality products are efficiently manufactured and packaged at all times.

Afternoon Shift: 2:00-10:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Perform various general plant tasks including packaging, feeding product to the line, making boxes, applying tamper seals, closing lids, etc., to ensure good quality product is produced at all times.
• Perform tasks associated with the assembly or packaging of the product.
• Serve as a back-up Machine Operator for coverage purposes from time to time.
• Practice and adhere to Food Safety, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and Health and Safety policies at all times.
• Follow Give & Go’s policies and best practices.
• Uphold Give & Go core values: Respect, Direct Communication & Quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor and/or Plant Manager.

The Recipe For Success

• Completion of high school education or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience; experience in food and dairy manufacturing is an asset.
• Good hand and manual dexterity.
