Job description

We are currently recruiting for Packing Operative (Afternoon Shift) to join our Team at Spalding site.

• Monday – Friday
• 13:30 – 23:00
• Voluntary overtime/weekend work also available.

Successful candidates will be required to work in a Chilled Food Production Environment undertaking manual handling tasks, handling raw meat and ensuring that all products are packaged safely in accordance with customer specification. Your duties will include:

• Working as part of a team to meet production targets.
• Complying with Company Policies and Procedures. Adhering to Health & Safety and Food Safety rules at all times.
• Maintaining responsibility for operational effectiveness of equipment and machinery and reporting faults to Management in a timely manner.
• Carrying out any other reasonable tasks assigned necessary to meet business needs.

Previous experience working in a Food Production Environment will be advantageous but not essential as Full Training will be provided.
