Job summary

IICRC seeks a field technician to assist with contents protection, cleanup, and documentation for losses. You will use inventory and scanning software, photograph and report progress, and coordinate with customers and the office on a regular basis.

The role requires teamwork, reliability, and strong attention to detail, with the ability to lift heavy items and work in challenging environments, including unpowered homes and extreme weather.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work within a team and follow instructions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid Texas driver’s license.
• Ability to read and follow product label usage instructions.

Responsibilities

• Pack and wrap customers' belongings for storage.
• Use inventory/scanning software daily.
• Maintain daily communication with office on job progress.
• Take photos and document progress for customers and insurance as needed.
• Report on non-salvageable items with photos and notes for claims.
• Clean affected structures after losses and after construction work.
• Work in extreme weather and in unpowered homes; participate in on-call rotation.
