Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Packing Associate in Newport, AR. The role involves picking, packing, labeling, and preparing customer orders for shipment with emphasis on accuracy and speed to keep orders moving.

Shifts are 12 hours, with day and night options, and you will work in a safety-focused warehouse environment. Candidates should be able to read pick tickets and operate RF scanners, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Experience reading pick tickets, packing lists, shipping labels, or electronic order systems.
• Ability to safely use RF scanners, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other warehouse equipment as required.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to inventory accuracy and quality.
• Dependable attendance and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced warehouse environments.

Responsibilities

• Hand-pack finished snack products.
• Assemble boxes and pack bagged products into cases.
• Place finished cases onto pallets.
• Monitor packaging equipment and production processes.
• Ensure labels are properly applied.
• Monitor box and bag production.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Keep packaging equipment operating efficiently.
• Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting when issues occur.
• Identify and resolve minor machine issues independently when possible.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Support the team with additional duties as needed.
