Hallandale Pharmacy is seeking a packing clerk to package, condition, and label finished products in a GMP-compliant facility. The successful candidate will ensure proper packaging, labeling, and traceability while maintaining cleanliness and safety on the packing lines.

The role operates from 2:30pm to 10:30pm and requires attention to detail and teamwork. We value accuracy in documentation, adherence to SOPs, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in warehouses, shipping, packaging or related is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verify that packaging materials meet established specifications.
• Ensure proper identification and traceability of each batch.
• Ensure proper placement of labels, inserts, and secondary packaging.
• Perform visual quality controls during packaging to detect defects.
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and compliance with safety standards.
• Comply with SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Keep production records up to date and report incidents to the supervisor.
• Ensure cleanliness and order on packaging lines according to hygiene and safety standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities in the area.

Job Summary

The packing clerk is responsible for packaging, conditioning, and labelling finished products, complying with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards, internal procedures and industry regulations. Their work ensures that medications reach the customer in optimal conditions of safety, quality and identification. The shift for this role is 2:30pm to 10:30pm.

Requirements

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Verify that packaging materials (boxes, blisters, labels, inserts, bottles, etc.) meet established specifications.
• Ensure proper identification and traceability of each batch using codes and labels.
• Ensure proper placement of labels, inserts, and secondary packaging.
• Perform visual quality controls during the packaging process, detecting potential defects.
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and compliance with safety standards in the work area.
• Comply with SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and regulatory standards.
• Attention to detail and precision in repetitive tasks.
• Basic knowledge of GMP standards and industrial hygiene.
• Ability to work as a team and meet production deadlines.
• Keep production records up to date and report incidents to the supervisor.
• Ensure cleanliness and order on the packaging lines according to hygiene and safety standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities in the area.
