Kenwal Steel in Lebanon, TN is seeking a Chief Bander to securely band coils after they are cut. You will place bands around coils, reach above head to tighten the banding head, and control the conveyor line using a waist-high joystick and push buttons.

The role requires on-the-job training, a high school diploma or GED, basic measurement tools, and PPE including hard hat, arm guards, gloves, steel-toe shoes, and safety glasses. Strong coordination and perceptual skills are essential.

JOB SUMMARY: The Chief Bander is responsible for banding the coils once they have been cut. The chief bander is responsible for placing bands around the coils, reaching above their head for the banding head to tighten the bands around the coils.
