Position Overview

$14.60 - $16.25

Day shift - this is a 12-hour rotating shift with two 3-day weekends OFF a month. APPLY NOW!

BRT Extrusions, located in Niles, OH, is seeking general labor workers for our expanding Packing department. Responsibilities include packing extruded metal and preparing it for shipment or transfer to other departments.

Essential Duties

• Retrieve racks from holding area
• Push racks to workstations
• Set up work horses on tables
• Cut wood or cardboard as needed
• Pack metal according to specifications
• Operate industrial vehicles and equipment
• Move products/materials manually as required
• Document production information both on paper and digitally
• Follow all safety and company policies

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to work varying shifts
• Basic reading and communication skills
• Computer familiarity is a plus (training provided)
• Spanish instructions available as needed

Physical Requirements

This role involves working in a manufacturing environment with fluctuating temperatures and high noise levels. Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, twist, climb, and push/pull frequently. Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally is required. Effective communication and following written procedures are essential. Instructions are available in English and Spanish.
