SMS Staffing in North Chicago, IL is hiring a Packer/Stacker to join our warehouse team. This temporary-to-hire role requires packing containers, stacking skids, labeling, loading cans on lines, and meeting production rates on a day shift or evening shift.

The job is hazardous and safety-sensitive; candidates should be able to work around a client’s safety policies and adhere to food-safety requirements when applicable. First and second shifts run Monday through Thursday with overtime as needed.

SMS Staffing Is Hiring Immediately For Skilled Packers/Stackers in North Chicago, IL

Job Title: Packer/Stacker

Job Location: North Chicago, IL

Job Type: Temp to Hire

Pay: $15.00/Hour +

1st Shift: 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Monday - Thursday)

2nd Shift: 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM (Monday - Thursday)

About the Packer/Stacker Role

• Pack containers in boxes
• Stack skids according to specifications
• Label containers according to specifications
• Load cans on lines
• Meet or exceed established production rates

Other Duties of the Warehouse Packer/Stacker:

• Keep work areas clean and neat
• Follow all safety policies of the client company
• Execution of activities as assigned
• Responsibilities involving food safety, when required
