Packer Operator / Warehouse Packer

The Packer is responsible for packaging, inspecting, labeling products and preparing them for shipment. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.

Job Duties

• Inspect plastic products for quality, ensuring they meet the required specifications.
• Clean, label, and package plastic products according to established guidelines.
• Follow packaging instructions, including quantities, sizes, and product placement within boxes or containers.
• Operate packaging machinery and ensure the proper functioning of equipment.
• Adhere to packaging specifications and maintain consistency in packaging quality.
• Maintain accurate records of packaged products, quantities, and any issues or concerns.
• Assist with production line start‑up and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targets.
• Keep the work area clean and organized, including proper disposal of packaging materials.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with production supervisors and team members to address any issues or concerns.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in packaging or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to maintain high quality standards.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet production targets.
• Familiarity with packaging materials, tools, and equipment.
• Basic math skills for counting and verifying quantities.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift objects for extended periods.
• Able to tolerate a non climate‑controlled environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and record‑keeping.

$20.50/hour (Includes a $2/hour shift differential)

PM Shift: 5:50 pm – 6:00 am on a rotating schedule (must work 2 weekends per month)
