Overall Summary:

The Packer Operator runs department equipment to produce envelope products according to customer's guidelines and standard operating procedures.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Conduct quality checks.
2. Read and understand production tickets.
3. Package and move finished product.
4. Complete electronic and paper documentation.
5. Inventory/handle finished product efficiently and accurately; mail product.
6. Maintain a clean and safe work area.
7. Assist coworkers when needed.
8. Assist with machine set-up.
9. Perform other related duties as applicable or assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities/Competencies:

• Ability to read and write basic English.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Salary:

The hourly rate range for this position is $21.00-28.00/hr. At IWCO, pay is determined by knowledge, skills, credentials, experience, role scope, and location. Candidates outside the posted range are encouraged to apply and will be considered based on qualifications or for other roles. Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
• Overtime when needed.
• Work in a climate-controlled environment with exposure to loud noise (PPE provided).
• Lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, walk, bend, twist, crouch, squat, kneel, and stoop for up to 12 hours.
• Fine motor movements, pushing/pulling, grasping, pinching.
• Reaching.
