Job summary

APB Paper Plant - Las Vegas is seeking a Night Shift Packer to support the packaging line. You will assist operators, maintain clean and organized work areas, and ensure accurate labeling and reporting of materials.

The role requires basic data entry, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds are expected, with a 10:00 PM–6:00 AM schedule and occasional weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Manufacturing or production experience is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable with repetitive packing tasks and fast pace.

Responsibilities

• Assist operators in loading and unloading rolls.
• Support cleaning of plates, ink chambers, glue units and belts.
• Use pallet jack to weigh and move production waste.
• Scan input rolls and create accurate box labels.
• Maintain production reports and update visual boards.
• Create retain bag samples for quality tracking.
• Check ink viscosity and pH for print quality.
• Prepare boxes and packing tools for shifts.
• Separate defective bags from acceptable products.
• Count and box good bags per required quantity.
• Attach labels and seal boxes with tape.
• Stack boxes on pallets following packing rules.
• Dispose of defective bags in scrap bins.
• Clean packing area when switching lines.
