Job summary

Accredo Packaging, Inc. is seeking a Packer in North Las Vegas, NV to support the production process by assisting machine operators, maintaining a clean and organized packing area, and generating accurate packing reports.

The role covers the 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM shift with rotation weekends, offering an hourly rate of $14.00 plus a $1.00 overnight differential. Responsibilities include loading/unloading rolls, labeling, quality sampling, waste handling, and packaging of bags according to quantity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist operators in loading and unloading rolls.
• Support cleaning of plates, ink chambers, glue units, belts, and general machine maintenance.
• Use pallet jack to weigh and handle production waste.
• Scan input rolls and create accurate box labels.
• Maintain production reports and update visual boards as required.
• Create and organize retain bag samples for quality tracking.
• Check ink viscosity and pH levels to ensure proper print quality.
• Follow machine maintenance schedules and report issues promptly.
• Prepare boxes and tools needed for packing.
• Separate defective bags from acceptable ones.
• Count and arrange good bags into boxes according to the required quantity.
• Attach labels and seal boxes with tape.
• Stack boxes on pallets following packing regulations.
• Dispose of defective bags into designated scrap bins.
• Clean and organize the packing area when switching production lines or products.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand for extended periods. Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds. Exposure to manufacturing noise and temperature variations. Must be able to perform repetitive tasks safely and efficiently.
